Multiple-time world champion Braulio Estima is currently considering his option for a return to IBJJF competitions later this year.
Estima, who was handed a two-year ban after a doping violation in 2014, is eligible to compete in the federation’s tournaments as of August.
He is so far undecided about his exact return to IBJJF tournaments, but says he is considering competing in the IBJJF Masters World Championships.
This would be the first time the four-time world champion will compete in the Masters (30+) division.
“It makes me feel old to say it but I’m actually Masters 2,” says Braulio, referring to the fact he is over 35.
Estima said he plans to compete in the Abu Dhabi 2016 World Pro in April and will likely enter the -94kg category.
The Gracie Barra black belt is an IBJJF world champion, World Pro champion and ADCC champion.
