In a sport where athletes fret over sweating out every possible ounce in order to gain an advantage over the competition, Andre Galvao is one of the few people who buck the trend. 

A natural middle heavyweight (88.3kg / 195lb), the Atos co-founder went up THREE weight classes at the 2016 IBJJF Pans to thrown down with the big boys of the ultra heavyweight division (100.5kg+ / 220lb+). 



There, he met the giant from the Ryan Gracie team, Kitner Moura. Galvao went head-to-head with the bigger man, showing that jiu-jitsu really can help you overcome size and strength!
