Yuri Simoes was coming after Dean Lister -- he had made it known weeks before Fight To Win Pro 8 that he wasn't happy with Dean's comments about their previous ADCC match, and he was ready to settle the score. He didn't disappoint.

Yuri came out guns blazing, but the rugged veteran that is Dean Lister was not to be taken out so easily. Dean staved off several submission attempts, even giving the thumbs up after Yuri attempted a wrist lock from side control.

Simoes took the win via unanimous judges' decision after 10 mins of action. 

We were glad to see the two fighters embrace and move past their disagreements as they walked off the mat together.
