Baret Yoshida's Road To The Fight To Win Featherweight Title
Baret Yoshida will defend his Fight to Win Featherweight title against local Chicago challenger Mike Reyna of Reyna BJJ on Saturday night. This will be Baret's fourth match with the promotion and his first title defense after winning the title at Pro 8. Yoshida has made a habit out of going into enemy territory and taking on the toughest regional black belts around.

Back at Fight to Win Pro 4, Baret took on Denver's own Nobuo Yagai in a non-title featherweight match. The bout served as the co-main event and was the Arena MMA representative's debut with the promotion. Yoshida used his patented crucifix to control Yagai for most of the match until, little by little, he cinched up a choke from the back to finish the fight.

At Fight to Win Pro 8, the ADCC bronze medalist returned after suffering a split-decision loss to Milton Bastos for another title fight. This time again in his opponents backyard. San Francisco resident and newly crowned Ralph Gracie black belt Woolf Barnato challenged Yoshida for the featherweight title. Having just received his black belt less than a year earlier, the hungry Barnato gave the veteran Yoshida all he could handle in an exciting back-and-forth match.
