Dillon Danis returned in style at the 2016 IBJJF No-Gi Pans with a big win in the medium heavyweight and a submission in his weight category and two submissions in the absolute division.
The double gold marks a return to form for Danis, who admits he performed below expectations at the Copa Podio Middleweight Grand Prix. This is Danis's first jiu-jitsu tournament back since spending some weeks in fight camp working with UFC star Conor McGregor, helping the Irishman prepare for the Nate Diaz fight.
Next week, Danis will likely fly to Ireland to train McGregor for the UFC 205 fight against Eddie Alvarez.
