Cyborg Dominates at Grappling Pro Championship
Cyborg had a standout performance today, submitting all three of his opponents at the Heavyweight edition of Grappling Pro Championship.
The veteran athlete used all the tools in his arsenal to take the victory: aggressive wrestling, nimble passing, and a guard that is impossible to get around.
The finals match saw explosive upstart Mahamed Aly attempt to take Cyborg down several times, and though he at times was close, he was never able to secure the position and obtain the points. Cyborg then opted to pull guard, which was the beginning of the end for Aly. Cyborg dove for what seemed to be deep half and then spun underneath Aly's legs to secure and submit Aly with a kneebar.
