Garry "The Lion Killer" Tonon walked away victorious after an intense and highly entertaining main event at Fight to Win Pro 28 in Oklahoma City.

The two fighters spent much of the first part of their match on their feet, each one looking for an opening to secure a dominant position over each other. Tonon then went for various leg attacks, many of which left the audience silent with nerves. But somehow, Rader managed to slip out of every one, even a couple of tight heel hook attempts.

As the match continued, Rader attempted to establish control over Tonon, but eventually gave up his back to his opponent. Although Tonon put up a valiant effort to finish the choke, Rader was able to defend himself long enough for the clock to run out. The match went to the decision of the judges, who unanimously awarded the victory to Tonon.

Both Tonon and Rader are Fight to Win veterans. Tonon is undefeated in his Fight to Win career, with this match causing him to retain his status as the no-gi welterweight champion. Tonon had previously stated that Rader was an early influence on his jiu-jitsu career, which made this match all the more interesting for jiu-jitsu enthusiasts.

The next Fight to Win Pro event will take place in Nashville, Tennessee on March 31.
