Old-School: 69-Year-Old Grappler Proves Age Is Just A Number
Nearing 70 years of age, most people are settling down into a comfortable lifestyle of retirement. But one old-school grappler is proving that age is just a number.

Shaun W. Scott is a 69-year-old hailing from Millersville, Pennsylvania. He's been grappling since he was in college, meaning he's got over five decades of experience on the mat.

With a master's degree in theology (he wrote a thesis on ancient wrestling in the biblical world and the Bible!) Scott's grappling roots run deep.

He has competed in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, sambo, and gi and no-gi grappling. According to the event organizers, he enters the UWW Grappling events every year.

And in an inspiring turn of events, Scott placed second in the -92kg gi division and third in the -92kg no-gi division.
