Gordon Ryan's Amazing Physical Transformation, In Photos

Noted no-gi grappler Gordon Ryan is known for turning heads with his savage heel hooks and crushing rear naked chokes. Lately though, the 21-year-old black belt has been catching attention for more than just his moves on the mat.

Gordon Ryan's amazing physical transformation has had many members of the jiu-jitsu community asking, "how was that possible?". Many believed that Ryan was a skinny lightweight all along, but the truth is quite different.

Standing at a lanky 6'2", Ryan is naturally long and lean. He has cut incredible amounts of weight in the past, dropping his natural walk-around from in the region of 185lb down to as low as 160lb for a same-day weigh-in.

Recently, Ryan has been on a bulking project. It seems he's lifting and eating with the objective of getting -- to use the technical term -- fricking hench.

At his most recent weigh-in for Fight To Win Pro 34, Ryan hit an all-time high of 213lb. Whether he will continue to climb the weight classes remains to be seen.

Take a look at Ryan's physical transformation over the last two years below.
