These competitors may be best known for their performances in the cage, but it's going to be interesting to see what they can do when striking is taken out of the equation.
Fight to Win Pro is coming back to Tulsa, Oklahoma, this week, and MMA fans aren't going to want to miss this one.
On Friday, Bellator veteran Marcio Navarro will be going up against Matt Vernon, who's a Jean Jacques Machado black belt and the owner of Primate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This won't be the first Fight to Win Pro experience for either athlete, and in fact, Vernon is currently sitting on an impressive record of 3-0 for the promotion.
Navarro's last Fight to Win match was a main event bout against Justin Rader, in which Navarro gave the ADCC Trials winner a run for his money.
In a matchup of two extremely fierce grapplers, it goes without saying that the audience in Tulsa is in for a truly exciting main event.
Don't think you have to wait until the end of the show to see some serious talent take the stage, though. Fight to Win Pro 48 will also feature a few other competitors who MMA enthusiasts may be familiar with, including Legacy Fighting Championship veteran Canaan Grigsby, Bellator veterans Jimmy Flick and Derrick Adkins, and UFC veteran Daniel Roberts.
