When Dean Lister was a blue belt other jiu-jitsu practitioners tried to dissuade him from doing leglocks. 

"The choke is the king, the armlock is the queen, and the footlock is the dirty thief in the night," he was told. 

It's a good thing Lister didn't listen, and neither did any of the following eight athletes, who all scored submission wins at Submission Underground 5 last weekend in Portland, OR, by way of attacking the legs.
