The IBJJF announced today the date and location for the 2018 Pan Championship, one of the most important tournaments of the year. 

The 'Pans' are one of the four IBJJF 'Grand Slam' events, which include Europeans, Brazilian Nationals and Worlds. The value of winning the Pans is often considered second only to the Worlds. 

The venue for the 2018 IBJJF Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship will be the Bren Events Center at University of California in Irvine. 

The tournament has been provisionally announced as taking place on March 7-11, 2018, although depending on the number of competitors the start date may change.
