Eddie Cummings & Nicky Ryan To Headline Fight To Win Pro 56

Eddie Cummings and Nick Ryan will feature on the main card of Fight To Win Pro 56, which takes place at the Musclepharm HQ in Los Angeles.

Cummings will face off with Jacob Sandoval of Cobrinha BJJ in a 155lb no-gi match. The heel hook phenom returns to action on the Fight To Win stage for the first time since winning the title via decision at F2W Pro 31 in April.

Sandoval is a young athlete from Cobrinha’s team that just got promoted to black belt on November 5. He is also an amateur MMA fighter who trains out of Blackhouse MMA and works wrestling with noted coach Kenny Johnson.

Nicky Ryan continues his ongoing rivalry with Eddie Bravo’s 10th Planet team. Following a heel hook win over Marvin Castelle (the man with 10million views), the ADCC veteran will face off with 25-year-old black belt Ricky Lule, who trains out of 10th Planet Oceanside with Geo Martinez.

The co-main event of Fight To WIN Pro 56 features Talita Alencar vs Pati Fontes in a battle for the no-gi flyweight title. Alliance rep Alencar just beat Aarae Alexander for the gi title on F2W Pro 53, and she’ll look to take her second strap in this clash with Checkmat’s Fontes, who is a two-time IBJJF black belt no-gi world champion.
