Vagner Rocha & Dustin Akbari To Square Off In Sub-Only

Fight To Win Pro has pitted two of the most aggressive submission grapplers in the sport against each other for the main event of its Sacramento, CA, card on Jan. 12.

ADCC 2017 bronze medalist Vagner Rocha and Team Alpha Male product Dustin Akbari will headline Fight To Win Pro 58 in a 170lb black belt no-gi bout.

Rocha is coming off a big win over Jess "JT Money" Taylor on Submission Underground 6. Rocha has also appeared on Fight To Win, infamously getting DQ’d after kicking AJ Agazarm off the stage.

Akbari went 5-1 as an MMA fighter between 2006-2010, and since then he’s become a regular face on the pro grappling circuit while training out of NorCal. Akbari has fought four times on Fight To Win events, grappling Garry Tonon on F2W 8, Bill Cooper on F2W 16, Caleb Khan on F2W 23, and Gianni Grippo on F2W 38.

Also on the card is a co-main event 165lb black belt gi match featuring Marcos Torregrosa (Yemaso BJJ) versus Dom Hoskins (Team Santos/BJJ Revolution).

Fight To Win Pro 58 goes down on Jan. 12 in Sacramento, CA. Watch it LIVE or On Demand ONLY on FloGrappling.
