ADCC has released its official Best-Of Awards from the 2017 World Championships this past September in Finland.

ADCC has released its official Best-Of Awards from the 2017 World Championships this past September in Finland. 

All awards are officially decided by the ADCC commission. Fighters will receive an undisclosed bonus for winning the awards.

Fastest Submission:
 Buchecha vs. Mahamed Aly

Marcus Almeida submitted Mahamed Aly in just 26 seconds in the absolute bronze medal match. Though the submission looked devastating at the time, Aly was back on the mats and competing again in just a few short weeks.

Best Takedown: Garry Tonon

Unsurprisingly, ADCC has awarded Gordon Ryan as the most technical and exciting fighter at the ADCC 2017 Worlds. The 22-year-old silenced many doubters as he tore through the toughest competition in the world, submitting titans of the sport such as Romulo Barral and Keenan Cornelius along the way.
