Atos Wins Sixth Team Title At IBJJF 2018 Kids Pans

The IBJJF put on another incredible event for its ninth installment of the Kids Pan Championships at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California, on Sunday.

The team title came down to the wire between three powerhouse organizations: Alliance, Gracie Barra, and Atos, with the score separated by a spread of just 15 points going into the last hour of competition.

Undaunted by the task at hand, Atos had another incredible showing and proved for the sixth time that its team is not only home to some of the best adult athletes on the planet but also the source of some the sport's most promising stars.

Tye Ruotolo hunts for the takedown in his final. Though he ended up losing to Dominic Mejia by ref's decision, the silver medal was enough to help put Atos over the top in team points.

Atos took home the team trophy with 275 points, besting Gracie Barra and Alliance, which earned 269 and 265 points, respectively.
