He took down tough two of TLI’s toughest competitors in Mahamed Aly and Tim Spriggs (TWICE in Spriggs' case, once in absolute, and once in the super-heavyweight division) but came up short in the absolute semifinal against longtime rival Leandro Lo.

Cornelius' incredible guard was on display all weekend as he tied up opponents in his web of entrapments, and while his performance showed that his game has evolved to the next level, he's not untouchable just yet.
