Both athletes have been cleaning up the light-featherweight & roosterweight (depending on the event) divisions across the globe, and the story at the 2018 World Championships was no different.  It was decided that this time Jonas would be given the gold medal and Thalison would officially take second place.  

And in not so minor news, Thalison & Jonas were both awarded their brown belts! We can’t wait to see them compete at the next level.
