Road To Gold: Lucas Lepri's Flawless Run (Alliance)

We honestly don’t know what is more impressive: the fact that Lucas Lepri is now a 5x World Champion, or that for the last three years in a row his opponents have barely managed to score a point against him.

With the 2018 title, Lepri joins a list of legends who also have five World Championship gold medals to their name, including Marcelo Garcia, Bernardo Faria, Cobrinha, Bibiano Fernandes, Romulo Barral, Robson Moura, Rodolfo Vieira, and Andre Galvao.

Lepris' perfect run was capped with an electrifying final against Checkmat's Renato Canuto: the two athletes had one the most explosive matches of the day, marked with great wrestling from Lepri and aggressive Judo tactics from Canuto.
