The spectacular Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship will return in 2019, offering paid travel for competitors and cash prizes in all divisions.

The UAEJJF originally planned to make the Abu Dhabi World Pro a biennial event, occuring only once every two years. But the popularity of the event and huge demand from competitors led to the federation confirming that the ADWPJJC will take place next year.

The multi-day event will take place between April 21 and 27, 2019. Of this week-long event, two days will feature the Abu Dhabi World Youth Championship, one day will feature only Masters (over the age of 30) competitors and three days will feature adult competitors from blue to black belt.

The Abu Dhabi World Pro offers cash prizes of $15,000 to black belt champions, with a $25,000 prize to the no.1-ranked black belt of the 2018-2019 season.

The World Pro is the last event of the season, which runs from April to April each year and also includes the five international Abu Dhabi Grand Slams, in locations such as Tokyo, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, Abu Dhabi and London.
