Battle Of The Leglockers: Craig Jones vs Tex Johnson

There is a good chance this match will end with a submission, but there are no prizes for guessing what it might be.

Aussie submission machine Craig Jones will face off with one of the deadliest leg lockers in the game when he meets Aaron "Tex" Johnson at KASAI Super Series Orlando.

Johnson took second at the recent KASAI Pro 5 light-heavyweight tournament in April, while Jones took third in the same line-up. They didn't get to meet that night as they were on opposite sides of the bracket.

During that event, Johnson stunned the world with an upset victory over ADCC champ Felipe Pena, beating the Gracie Barra black belt via heel hook. Jones had a pretty good night too, winning two out of four matches via submission.

Come July 4. they will compete in a KASAI rules superfight: 10 minutes with points, golden score overtime if there is no clear winner.

"We are super excited about this matchup" said KASAI CEO Rich Byrne.

"Tex and Craig are two of the most exciting grapplers in the world. Both possess lethal leg-lock submissions. Something big may happen here. We can not wait to watch this one!"
