No Nutella In Sight: Celsinho & Vagner Rocha Promise Old-School Showdown

Nobody could ever accuse these two veterans of being "nutella"! As gnarly as they come, Celso Vinicius and Vagner Rocha are set to square off at KASAI Super Series Orlando on July 4.

Brutal chokes, savage joint locks and powerful takedowns: both Celso Vinicius and Vagner Rocha are known for being the type of competitor you just don't mess around with. There is nothing smooth or subtle about their matches– they make every grappling match a fight.

The two veterans– Celso is 35, Vagner is 36– are still very much active and considered world-class grapplers. Both are ADCC veterans, and both return to the KASAI stage. Celso competed at KASAI Pro 1 in December 2017, while Vagner was a second-place finisher in the 170lb tournament at KASAI Pro 3.

This is a special opportunity for Vagner Rocha, who is from Florida. The Brazilian-American black belt always brings plenty of support for his local matches, and never fails to put on a show in his backyard. He'll no doubt bring his friends and students from his VRMMA gym, and it's a certainty that the Fight Sports team will come out in force to support their own.

"If you remember Celso from his highlight reel submission victory at his KASAI Pro debut, you know he will deliver action," said KASAI President Rolles Gracie. "Vagner Rocha is no different, we can't wait for these ADCC stars to go at it."
