Keenan vs Devhonte Among Fire First-Round Matches At IBJJF 2019 No-Gi Pans

The brackets and schedule have dropped for the 2019 IBJJF No-GI Pans!

Keenan Cornelius is among the black belts who can expect a tough first-round match as he goes up against Devhonte Johnson of Unity. The IBJJF World No-Gi champion will compete in the super-heavyweight division. 

Cornelius has been training locally at the Renzo Gracie Academy with John Danaher and will be using this tournament as a tune-up ahead of ADCC just two weeks from now. The pioneer of lapel-based trickery will have to get through Johnson in the semifinal and should he win he will likely face Vinicius Ferreira of Alliance in the final.

Recently, we published an article about Dillon Danis watching a viral video of a Baltimore teenager getting beaten up by several students in his school's bathroom. Danis was bullied himself as a child and felt the need to reach out to help. Dillon said if the victim was interested in training, he would happily pay for his jiu-jitsu membership. The bullying victim accepted Dillon's offer, and today this photo was posted of the kid's first day on the mat. Danis had this to say about the victim joining;
