The Spyder Invitational BJJ Championship Finals take place in South Korea on November 23, with two 8-man brackets.

The tournament is set to offer the most prize money we've seen in recent memory: $100,000 dollars is on the line in each division, and the talent present in the two brackets matches the high stakes.

Yesterday Spyder revealed the first four names to be officially invited to the tournament: Matheus Gabriel and Edwin Najmi are in at -76kg; Kaynan Duarte and Leandro Lo for -100kg.  

Today, it's been confirmed that four more incredible athletes have been officially invited to take part in the action. 

Levi Jones-Leary and Shane Jami-Hill Taylor will join the -76kg division while  Tim Spriggs and Anderson Munis will enter the -100kg bracket.

The divisions as they currently stand: 

-76kg:

+100kg:

Shane Jamil-Hill Taylor is the 2018 IBJJF World Champion and previous Spyder champ. 

The Team Lloyd Irvin black belt is universally known as one best technical innovators of modern jiu-jitsu and is a strategic wizard.   Jamil's participation in the 2019 Spyder Championships potentially sets up the highly-anticipated rematch with Matheus Gabriel: the pair had a contentious final at the 2019 Pan Championships that saw Gabriel narrowly earn the win by penalty points.

Meanwhile, Levi Jones-Leary started 2019 as one of the top rookie black belt's to keep an eye on.

 A prediction that proved to be with merit as the young Aussie took home top honors and the European & Pan American Championships, besting key figures in our sport like Lucas Lepri, Gianni Grippo, and Renato Canuto in the process.

However,  his storybook season was upended with his early exit from 2019 World Championships where we saw Levi leave the tournament without a medal, and we're certain the Unity Jiu-Jitsu competitor has been chomping at the bit to get back in the winner's circle.

Coming in hot to the -100kg division is Tim Spriggs, another TLI standout.  

Spriggs clinched his spot in the Spyder season finale with an impressive qualifying campaign earlier this year that saw him take out Rudson Mateus, Matheus Diniz, and Claudio Calasans. Among numerous accomplishments in the gi, Spriggs is also a World No-Gi champ and ADCC Trials champion.

Anderson Munis is the only brown belt present at the Spyder Championship, but don't let that fool you. The 2019 Double Gold World Champion earned his spot for the November final by besting Roberto Jimenez and Matheus Diniz at the Spyder Qualifier event earlier this year.
