The qualifying process has begun for the Olympic Teams in men's and women's freestyle wrestling along with greco-roman wrestling. Some athletes are already qualified for the trials based on being on the 2019 world team or winning the recent Bill Farrell tournament in Manhattan. Five more athletes will be qualified at each weight for the trials after this weekend's tournament in Fort Worth, Texas, with the top five placers advancing to the trials.
The tournament will run from Friday through Sunday, with all of the action streamed live on FloWrestling. Women's freestyle and men's greco kick off the action on Friday, with men's freestyle finals and consolations taking place on Sunday.
In this video Mark Bader and Nomad break down who is already qualified for the trials and does not have to compete in Fort Worth, although some athletes who previously qualified will still compete.
