"Even heel hooks, I would allow everything, yeah even in the gi. Especially for the black belts, maybe not for white belts, but since blue belt it should be allowed... If you didn't learn heel hooks until black belt, you shouldn't be competing. At black belt level you should know how to protect yourself."
