A pivotal athlete n the development of professional jiu-jitsu, Ismail was the terror of the grappling and mixed martial arts world from the early nineties into the 2000’s.  His wars Royce, Renzo, and Ryan Gracie earned him the nickname the ‘Gracie Killer, and he has been lionized as one of the fiercest competitors ever seen. 

Ismail's life post-competition hasn’t slowed down for a second, he continues to promote the growth of MMA as the president and founder of Jungle Fights MMA  and is actively courting a final fight with Renzo Gracie
