Stunning news from Instagram today, as Paulo Miyao made a post in Portuguese announcing his exit from Unity Jiu-Jitsu, the team he has called home for the last five years. His post was followed soon after by another from Joao Miyao, making it look like both brothers are on their way out of Unity. Here is the Paulo Miyao post:
This translates to, "Hello everyone. Just coming here to say that I'm not part of Unity Jiu-Jitsu anymore. I'm thankful to everyone for all these years together. All the luck in the world to you."
Joao Miyao followed this up with another post of him training with Paulo, captioned "Until the end, since day 1." We have reached out to all sides for comments and will be updating this article as the situation unfolds.
