The 16-team bracket has just dropped, and we've got all the first round matches right here. Find out who Fellipe Andew, Levi Jones-Leary, and more will face.

Subversiv starts at 5 PM Central Time on Friday, August 28.

There are plenty of matches we would love to see in this team against team showdown. But before we get to the matchups between the top seeds, those teams will have to get through a handful of underdogs hoping to make their names.

Several of these squads have a legitimate chance of upsetting the favorites and taking home the grand prize.

Here's the bracket:

On the left side of the bracket, Checkmat and Gracie Barra are the top seeds.

If both Checkmat and Gracie Barra are able to push through to the semifinal round, the heavyweight match will be the one to watch. I'm surprised we haven't seen Gabriel Almeida and Fellipe Trovo square off previously. Both of these competitors are right on the cusp of major title contention and have high submission rates.

Gracie Barra vs Checkmat would also give us a showdown between two 2019 No-Gi World Champions: Kendall Reusing and Nathalie Ribiero.

If Gracie Barra gets stifled, it could be Team No Sleep that makes it through to the semis. That would give us a wild matchup between John Combs and new black belt Samuel Nagai. Combs has been frequenting the Fight to Win stage lately, and Nagai is nothing short of a regular. Two high-pace competitors, this would be a fire matchup.

On the right side of the bracket, Alliance Gold and Unity are the top seeds. But neither of these teams has an easy trip to the semifinals. Fight Sports could be a huge roadblock for Unity. Aaron "Tex" Johnson will be a tough test for his former training partner, Devhonte "Bones" Johnson. This could be an absolute scrap, and could determine whether it will be Fight Sports or Unity who moves ahead to the semis.

For Alliance Gold, the biggest barrier seems to be Team Zenith. If this is the draw in the second round, it will be another instance of two former teammates squaring off. If Alliance matches up against Zenith, Andrew will have to take on Marcelo Nunes, a Masters World champ and his former stablemate. Those types of matches tend to be full-throttle and action-packed. Fellipe Andrew is not one to shy away from taking risks to get the submission, so it would be exciting to see what that matchup could bring.

That's just the first few rounds! The finals could give us several permutations of never before seen matches, and in many instances we could see purple or brown belt against black belt, adult competitors against masters, no-gi enthusiast against gi specialist.

Tune in to see how it all plays out.
