Featuring some of the very. best lightweight talent on the planet, EUG has decided the  170plb bracket for their upcoming 8-man tournament via random draw. The winner of the tournament will walk away with $10,000. 

 2021 EUG Promotions Event #2 starts on Jun 12, 2021.

T the first-round matches for this 170lb gi tournament are as follows,: 

• Johnatha Alves vs Michael Liera Jr. 
• Jonnatas Gracie vs Mathias Luna 
• Tainan Dalpra vs Rafael Dos Anjos 
• Damien Nitkin vs Micael Galvao 

As you can see the right-hand side of the bracket features a potential matchup that has been long-dreamed-of by hardcore jiu-jitsu fans: TMEndes brother black belt Tainan Dalpra versus brown belt super star representing Fight Sports / Dream Art Mica Galvao.  

It’s less clear who will emerge on the other side of the bracket. Johnatha Alves will have to get past the veteran Liera Jr. , while Jonnatas Gracie could potentially see his Atos teammate Liera Jr. in the semifinal should he get past Luna of Checkmat.
