Rafaela Guedes & Erin Harpe In Rankings Showdown At WNO On June 18

The no.3-ranked female heavyweight, Rafaela Guedes is set to make her second appearance on FloGrappling’s Who’s Number One on June 18 when she takes on a professional MMA fighter, Invicta’s Erin Harpe.

Guedes has been nearly unstoppable since receiving her black belt in late 2020. She’s now 15-1 with 6 submission victories since October 2020, and she’s a Pan  No-Gi champion.

Guedes made her WNO debut earlier this year against Maggie Grindatti, and put on a dominant display of wrestling and ground work before finishing Grindatti with a brutal rear naked choke. She’s one of the most explosive and tenacious competitors in the female divisions, but she could meet a similarly styled athlete in Harpe.

Harpe is a 2-0 MMA fighter for Invicta FC. But she may be best recognized among grappling fans from her performance at Fight to Win earlier this year, where she displayed her athletic and aggressive style in her decision victory over Grindatti. Her style is reminiscent of her upcoming opponent, Guedes. And the clash is sure to produce a spectacle of a match.
