Gordon Ryan Wins WNO Belt And Izaak Michell Becomes Who's Next Champion

The first ever season of Who's Next came to a culmination on Thursday night, and after a wild series of events Izaak Michell walked away with the $10,000 plus an additional 10,000 TEZ and the title of Who's Next Season One champion. Izaak and opponent Kyle Chambers went at it for over two hours, on two different mats, before Izaak was eventually able to secure an armbar finish after controlling the majority of the match.

In the evening's main event, Gordon Ryan was extremely dominant en route to winning the vacant WNO Heavyweight title by rear naked choke over Pedro Marinho. While Gordon did not achieve the submission predicted in his pre-match envelope routine, the manner in which he handled the current No-Gi Worlds absolute champion was truly shocking.

Nicholas Meregali came in as a late replacement against Breylor Grout and achieved a submission in what was only his second no-gi match in his career. Nicholas was dominant throughout the match and looked incredibly sharp before he meets Rafael Lovato Jr on August 7th at WNO.
