The debating surrounding the two grappling arts of wrestling and jiu-jitsu reached new levels of interest when breakout ADCC star Nicky Rodriguez took on Team USA Wrestling representative Pat Downey in a modified-rules wrestling match - and JT Torres has been keeping tabs on the dialogue.
The 2x ADCC Champion has some of the best pure wrestling found in jiu-jitsu athletes and credits the stand-up grappling art as being a key factor in his success, so we were eager to get his thoughts on the best way to harness the power of wrestling and test jiu-jitsu's efficacy against the world's 'oldest sport'.
