Bernardo Faria: Why Missing ADCC Was Worst 3 Days Of His Life

World and Pan champ Bernardo Faria has had the craziest year; he experienced the highest of highs, but also the lowest of lows.

Bernardo accomplished one of his greatest dreams by taking double gold at Worlds and Pans, winning both his weight class and the absolute in both tournaments. His performances in those championships were the best we've ever seen from him.

Then in August, three days before ADCC in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he was the victim of a freak accident that saw him break his foot and miss his chance at competing in the biggest submission wrestling tournament in the world, an opprtunity that only comes around every two years.

Faria explains what happened that put him out of the event, how it affected him, and gives us an insight into his recovery.
