Roberto Satoshi had an impressive run at the UAEJJF events last year, winning the Tokyo Grand Slam by way of Darce choke and taking home a silver medal at the World Pro.
This year he'll look to continue that success with the first event of the year, the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. Roberto will be competing in a stacked 77kg weight division with names like Edwin Najmi and Marcio Andre. It should be the most contested weight class of the weekend.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam goes down on January 13-14, with no-gi on Friday and gi on Saturday.
