Star Studded Marianas Open Goes Down Tonight!

The Marianas Open has the double honor of being the biggest jiu-jitsu event in Micronesia, and also as being a highly-respected tournament with a huge cash prize that attracts world class talent from around the world!

The lightweight division contains big names such as Lucas Rocha, Michael Liera Jr, Isaque Bahiense, Renato Canuto and Johnny Tama. Liera Jr and Tama meet in the first round, with Rocha on the same side of the bracket. Bahiense will need to beat Viking Wong of Hong Kong / UK to face the winner of Renato Canuto and local boy Mike Sanchez.

In the heavyweight bracket we have names including Felipe Pena, Tanner Rice, Tarsis Humphreys and Nick Calvanese all facing Guam-based grapplers. Pena and Rice sit on the side of the 8-man bracket, with Tarsis and Calvanese on the other.

The Marianas Open goes down on April 29 9pmEST/6pmCST (April 30 11amChST) and you can watch it LIVE or On Demand ONLY on FloGrappling.com.
