ADCC: A Brief History
Like all great endeavors, it started with a simple idea:
Bring the highest level grapplers, wrestlers, judoka, sambo practitioners and mixed martial artists from all corners of the earth together to find out……who’s the best? 
In 1998 the ADCC World Championships became the first event of it’s kind to try and find an answer to that question, and well, the rest is history.
The 2017 ADCC World Championships returns September 23-24 from Helsinki Finland and is setup to be it’s most talent rich event ever. More than a dozen countries will be represented and as the level of grappling rises all over the world the competition at ADCC gets tougher and tougher.
