How Shaolin Became One Of The Greats

Jiu-Jitsu historian Riccardo Ammendolia shines his light on ‘one of the greatest lightweight to ever live' Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro.

The jiu-jitsu and MMA veteran will compete in a special attraction super fight at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam in Tokyo. 

Returning to compete in the gi, Ribeiro will face off against Daisuke “Amazon” Sugie, 37. A jiu-jitsu black belt representing Carpe Diem team, Sugie is also a veteran MMA fighter with 18 bouts between 2001 and 2011. 

The two will face off at the UAEJJF Abu Dhabi Grand Slam event in Tokyo on July 29.
