Straight off the plane from Tokyo Japan for rising MMA prospect and BJJ superstar Garry Tonon's latest fight at ONEfc, John Danaher takes a minute to breakdown his students 'most dominant performance' to date.

This is to all you viewers out there: For so long the squad was associated with submission grappling and we've always appreciated how our fans... and haters have followed us with interest and followed the squad through grappling and now Garry Tonon is making the switch to MMA. Understand we never forget our roots. We know we came from submission grappling. I know Garry Tonon and myself are extremely proud to carry the flag for submission grappling and jiu-jitsu into the cage and do out best to represent you guys. We don't forget where we come from. Garry and I were immensely proud after the fight to show the integration of the very skills we work everyday, control, down on the mat, and integrate it into a mixed martial arts contest and show that the skills you work on everyday have a direct applicability to a real fight. I know so many negative talkers say jiu-jitsu doesn't work in a fight, it's worthless. We're proud to show that submission grappling is absolutely one of the most important modes of training for mixed martial arts.
