One of our favorite things about hitting the road to worlds is getting the opportunity to see the next generation of athletes sharpening their tools before the years biggest tournament – and there is perhaps no athelte more deserving of making the up and comers list than Art of Jiu-Jitsu / Atos' Jessamine Khan

Despite her few years, Jessa is already a seasoned competitor who's medal collection contains trophies from the world's biggest tournaments. In 2019 alone – her first year as in the adult ranks and competing as a purple belt – Khan has already taken home top honors at the IBJJF European and Pan Championships, the Abu Dhabi World Pro, plus a host of IBJJF opens; she also claimed world titles in gi and no-gi as a juvenile blue belt.

As evidenced from the footage, Kahn's game is well-rounded and submission oriented – she's just as happy to berimbolo to the back as she is to hunt for the omoplata from closed guard.

Follow along and don't miss a thing from the 2019 Road to Worlds!
