Never count Cyborg out! The eldest competitor in the 8-man IBJJF Heavyweight Grand Prix, Cyborg was nearly 10 years older than the next man.

Combining his years of experience with grappling smarts, Abreu was able to take out Victor Hugo, Lucas Barbosa and Joao Gabriel Rocha to win the $40,000 grand prize.

"Age is just a number, as long as you believe in yourself anything is possible. I'm super grateful that I can come here and represent all the masters at Masters Worlds and win the Grand Prix."

"Uncle Cyborg is still around, the kids have got to work hard to take me out of here. A couple of them asked me, 'Aren't you going to retire?'– I don't think so. I don't think so, I think I'm on top. I'm looking forward to ADCC, we have one more month of camp, and I really hope to take weight and absolute once again."
