IBJJF Hall of Famer and ADCC legend Xande Ribeiro gave an emotional and revealing interview shortly after his match with Gabriel Almeida at Fight to Win 145.

This was Ribeiro's first match back since his appearance at the IBJJF Worlds in 2018. He scored an impressive armbar submission against his Checkmat opponent, but he had to eat a tight toehold earlier in the match that he says caused "some pops".

Ribeiro announced that after 20 years of jiu-jitsu as a career he will finally open his open school, and it will be located in Austin, Texas.

We're expecting to find out details as to when it will open soon, and we've been told that it will be called "Six Blades", which is the name of the new association born out of Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu.
