In one of the most exciting back-and-forth battles at ADCC 2019 Kennedy Maciel submitted Tye Ruotolo in the dying second of the ADCC semi-final, but it almost went the other way earlier in the match when Tye locked up his signature d'arce choke. It was close but Kennedy was able to get out and win the match by submission.
