Road To Gold: Anatole Rubin Baseball-Bat Chokes His Way To Gold

Anatole Rubin is a vision-impaired French athlete who maximized the use of the Baseball-Bat Choke during his run through the Master 1 Light Feather Blue Belt division at the 2023 IBJJF Euros. He gained control of the collar's of all four of his opponents and implemented the choke on every single attempt. Here is a breakdown of each of his matches:

Round One

Anatole's opponent was in his guard, winning on points until he secured the collar and executed the Baseball-Bat Choke:

Once again Anatole was down on points, with his opponent on top of him until he assumed control of the collar with both hands and in this instance put his opponent to sleep with the choke:
