Brazilian grappling star Mica Galvão will return to WNO to defend his recently captured 170lb championship against Kody Steele, a WNO veteran and rising MMA star. They are two of the most exciting grapplers in the division, with big slams, brutal submissions, and a physical pace that both will push for the entire 15 minutes. They face off this November 30th in Austin on the main card of Marinho vs Lovato Jr.

Mica recently won the WNO championship at WNO 20 in a one-night tournament where he defeated Jay Rodriguez and PJ Barch back to back, even winning submission of the night for the armbar over Barch. However, that night Galvão was supposed to face Andrew Tackett in the finals and Barch was a replacement athlete. Kody Steele, of Fight Factory, has trained with Andrew since he was a child and now steps into this contendership role while Andrew heals up.
