The IBJJF gi season is here and after an exciting, dramatic European Championships, eyes now turn to the upcoming Pans. Pans is the second of 4 major gi events in the year, and many top black belts are expected to enter the tournament by the time registration closes on March 10th.

Last year's Pans saw some incredible action, headlined by the double gold performance of Nicholas Meregali in his return to the gi, Adam Wardzinski pulling off an all-time upset over Fellipe Andrew, Diogo 'Baby Shark' Reis defeating 'Pato' in a battle of rivals, and Gabi Pessanha continuing her reign of dominance at female black belt.

Some of the biggest early name include Gabi Pessanha (who is looking to extend her record streak of consecutive Grand Slam victories to 13), Mica Galvao (WNO Champion & 2024 Euros Champ), and Elisabeth Clay (WNO Champ & IBJJF World No-Gi Champion).
