B-Team's Nicky Ryan Officially Invited To ADCC 2024

The divisions at ADCC World Championships are quickly filling up and we have a new invitation at -77kg; Nicky Ryan of B-Team. Nicky will be making his fourth appearance at the ADCC World Championships after previously winning trials and taking silver at the 2023 East Coast Trials with a 100% submission rate in his victories. He was unable to compete at West Coast Trials because of injury, but still will be at Worlds.

Nicky was successful in his WNO return in 2023, defeating Rene Sousa by decision. He was also on the victorious B-Team Bulls at QUINTET.4, where he drew with -88kg Trials winner Santeri Lillius. Nicky is currently the 10th ranked grappler in the world at 170lbs.

The ADCC made the announcement this morning via Instagram;

The -77kg division is one of the most competitive in the sport and in 2022 the place winners were Kade Ruotolo, Mica Galvao, Dante Leon, and PJ Barch. The confirmed division, including the 4 current Trials winners, so far is;
