Victor Hugo, representing Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu, has been invited to the 2024 ADCC World Championships in the +99kg division

Victor Hugo Officially Invited To ADCC 2024

We have our newest official invitation for the ADCC World Championships and it will be Victor Hugo of Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu making his return to the biggest stage in submission grappling. Victor is a two-time ADCC veteran (having advanced to the quarterfinals both times) and the reigning IBJJF World Absolute champion in the gi.

Victor has been very active and successful in the no-gi circuit as of late, including wins in the main event of WNO 22 against Nick Rodriguez and against Roosevelt Sousa at UFC FPI 6. He is currently ranked as the fifth best heavyweight grappler in the world.

The ADCC made the announcement today via Instagram;

The +99kg division is one of the sport's premier weight classes, with Gordon Ryan winning gold in 2022. The rest of the medal stand was filled out by Nick Rodriguez, Roosevelt Sousa, and Felipe Pena. The confirmed division, including the 4 current Trials winners, so far is;

The ADCC World Championships is slated for Aug. 17-18 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, streaming exclusively on FloGrappling.
