Kennedy Maciel took down Fabricio Andrey this weekend in the Feather Weight Finals at IBJJF Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships 2024 in Kissimmee, Fl. Maciel and Fabricio Andrey are both regarded as two of the best fighters in their weight class adding to the anticipation of this matchup.

Maciel went 4-0 on the weekend while Batista finished 3-1 at the second of four IBJJF Grand Slams set for 2024. Maciel now has a 72-21 overall record on the year with the IBJJF World Championships also approaching in late may. 

In 2019, Maciel took home silver at the IBJJF World Championships and will look to make a return to the podium this year.
