The official brackets and schedule have been released to set the first round at ADCC West Coast Trials. Here's everything you need to know.

ADCC West Coast Trials Brackets and Schedule Released: Here's What To Know

The first rounds of the ADCC West Coast Trials are set to begin today in Las Vegas, Nevada following the release of the official brackets. The brackets hold nearly 1,000 athletes across a total of eight weight classes on both the men's and women's side. 

The last North American Trials took place in 2023 with five athletes securing their spot at ADCC World Championships scheduled for August 2024.This weekend five more men will have the opportunity to secure their spot at the ADCC World Championships, as well as three women in their respective weight classes. 

Here's a look at the brackets and schedule for this weekend at ADCC West Coast Trials.

ADCC West Coast Trials Schedule

Saturday, March 30

  • 8:00am - Doors Open
  • 9:00am - Men's 88kg
  • 11:00am - Men's 66kg
  • 1:30pm - Men's 77kg
  • 4:00pm - Women's -55kg, Women's -65kg, Women's +65kg, Men's -99kg, Men's +99kg
  • 6:00pm - Estimated Trials Day 1 end time
  • 6:00pm-9:00pm - Gordon Ryan & John Danaher seminar inside the venue.

The top 32 men and top 16 women advance to Sunday, meaning Saturday will run through the round of 64 & 32 respectively.

Sunday, March 31

  • 10:00am - Doors Open
  • 11:00am - Round of 32
  • 12:30pm - Round of 16*
  • 1:30pm - Quarterfinals*
  • 2:30pm - Semifinals & Third Place matches
  • Break
  • 5:00pm - Finals
  • 7:00pm - Estimated End Time
    • * - the round of 16, quarters, and semis may begin earlier if the previous round ends early. Semifinals and finals will not change.

ADCC Trial Power Rankings were created to help understand who has been the most successful and dominant throughout the eight ADCC Trials leading up to the ADCC World Championships in August.

When Is At WNO 23?

Many of the grapplers in ADCC Trials and World Championships will also be competing at WNO 23. 

WNO 23 is scheduled for May 10 at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. 

What Does ADCC Stand For?

ADCC stands for Abu Dhabi Combat Club,  which is the name of the events organizers. The inaugural tournament was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 1998 and has been held every two years since 2001.
